PA House to Vote on Governor's Budget - H.B. 2279
The proposed Pennsylvania budget does not meet the needs of children and families struggling in the recession. It continues to balance the budget by cutting essential services such as Supplemental Security Income, Head Start and Pre-K, and crucial prevention programs that children and families need.
PCCY urges the House to pass a budget that restores services and increases revenue to secure our investments in education and communities, and protect vulnerable children and families.
