The Governor's Proposed Budget: Wrong Choices = Wrong Future

The state budget proposed by Governor Corbett takes aim at education, slashing one billion dollars from public education funding and cutting aid to Pennsylvania colleges and universities by 50%! Meanwhile, prison budgets are being increased and Pennsylvania is still the only state that doesn’t tax natural gas drilling or smokeless tobacco. Right now, tell your state legislator to say NO to the Governor’s budget.
Wrong choices = wrong future. We don’t want to encourage more criminals, we want to encourage more full day kindergarten, youth to learn and grow, build more students, build jobs and build our workforce – not our prisons!
